- Like a phoenix emerging from the collective ashes of prior musical creations, Stranger than Fate was born. Drawing from their deep and varied past, singer/guitarist Kristopher Mays, drummer Jim Morris and bassist Tim Harriman have succeeded in blending elements of faith in God and their passion for rock music. This seemingly unlikely pairing has birthed music that is both familiar in sound and different in technique and style. Following in the footsteps of bands like Kutless, Red, and Haste the Day, these three guys from central New York have done the unthinkable, combining the underground with the mainstream. When you see these guys play, be prepared for some screaming guitars, drop dead breakdowns, and passionate, insightful lyrics all in the same show.
