About Me

After years in the Baltimore, MD local music scene, Doug Fisher transplanted to Richmond and quickly became a regular at all the weekly open mics. Soon he hooked up with what would be his new band Caught In The Rift. Things clicked and in less than a year they have amassed a huge repertoire of original music hitting festivals and venues all over metro Richmond. With twin guitars weaving in and out of each other, they have been called a cross between Jeff Buckley, DMB, Pearl Jam, Phish, and even the mighty Allman Brothers. They appear regularly at venues such as Poe's Pub, Cary St. Cafe, Alley Katz, The Pour House, The Triple, and Bailey's Southside and Westend.
